Mindful Body Awareness
THIS SPECIAL OFFER IS FOR WOMEN*
In mindful body awareness sessions, you are invited to encounter yourself in a new way. Your body, your history, and your relationships gently move into the center of attention. Often, learned patterns show up not only in our thoughts, but also in the body — for example, through tension, withdrawal, or the feeling of not being fully present or not truly sensing yourself.
As you begin to feel your body more consciously and give space to your inner experience, something new can begin to unfold. Connections may become clearer, emotional relief can occur, and new possibilities for action may emerge.
I invite you to come closer to yourself and to discover a new way of relating to intimacy, touch, and connection..
What topics does mindful body awareness support?
- Low sexual desire or the feeling of not truly sensing yourself
- Difficulty with closeness and intimacy, or experiencing them as negative
- Persistent inner restlessness or exhaustion
- Repeating, rigid relationship patterns
- Separation, attachment issues, or emotional distance
- Psychosomatic complaints without a clear medical cause
- When the mind understands what’s going on, but the body doesn’t feel any change
- If you want to (re)connect with your own body and sensations
- Vaginismus or pain during sexual intercourse
What does a session look like?
In the session, I invite you to consciously notice your body’s language alongside the conversation: your breath, posture, tension, inner images, or sensations. The focus is on subtle sensing and moving out of stuck patterns to connect with what is alive. Nothing is ever truly absent; it is only temporarily inaccessible.
At the beginning of each session, we discuss what you want to focus on that day. Using systemic methods such as circular questioning or working with metaphors, we approach the core of your concern. From there, a body-oriented intervention is tailored specifically to you and can be practiced directly in the session. Depending on the topic, this could be a guided meditation, a seated or standing body exercise, or a body sculpture. The use of art materials such as clay, brushes, paint, and canvas may also be part of an in-person session. This helps you connect directly with your own sensations and what emerges in your body. Together, we develop ideas for how to integrate this experience positively into your daily life going forward.
At the end of the session, I suggest a small task or exercise that allows you to continue working on your topic between sessions, at your own pace and within your current possibilities.
This work is also very effective in online sessions. Through guided body awareness, mindful support, and space to work at your own pace in a familiar environment, many possibilities for collaboration arise.
